New Officer Commanding for 1315 (Kidlington) Squadron

1 November 2018 – 1315 (Kidlington) Squadron has a new Officer Commanding.  Flying Officer Al Young comes to us from 2120 (Witney) squadron, where he previously held the positions of Adjutant and, more recently, Training Officer.  He is an ex-regular RAF Aircrew Officer (1978-1997) and flew a variety of aircraft types during his RAF career, including the Hawk, Tornado and Hercules; he also holds a Private Pilot’s Licence and particularly enjoys flying aerobatics and formation in Lyneham Flying Club’s Bulldog, which is based at Cotswold Airport (the former RAF Kemble).
